FIRST Robotics Competition

Day 1 of the FIRST Robotics competition was not actually competition. Instead the point was to make sure the team's robot was sorted out and in good working order. Chatham started out with a robot that had broken just before setting out for the competition. This would require a rather substantial teardown to replace broken parts and then put it back together. And hopefully find a way to get some practice runs in as well. They got it back together in time for a practice match but without the arm working. By the time the next match came around, they had the arm working but had developed connectivity problems. By the third round all of that was sorted out, leaving only an inspection to pass to get into the next day's competition. At 6:30pm, that was achieved. They got a bit of practice in and called it a day.
