Columbia County Fair
September 3-5, 2022
I hadn’t been planning on spending a lot of time at the fair this year. I shot the demolition derby just for fun. And I’d been hired to shoot the dairy competitions. That was my full plan for fair attendance. Until the folks running the fair saw the derby pictures and asked me to shoot the rest of the fair. So I stayed for pretty much the rest of the fair. Ironically, a year in which I intended to reduce my time at the fair became a year in which I was there for most of it.
There’s a crazy large number of photos here and that’s just a fraction of what I shot but it covers all the bases. The farm shows, the variety acts, the two concerts, the rodeo and of course rides.
