Rodeo

The final big event of the Columbia County Fair is the rodeo. And tragically, the whole event had a case of the yips. No bull rider lasted the minimum eight seconds. The barrel racers knocked down a lot of barrels. Steers were not getting roped. It was weird, like the entire company of rodeo folks suddenly forgot how to do their jobs. Mind you, I haven’t been on a horse in something like forty years and probably couldn’t get one to do anything I wanted. So take my criticism with a big grain of salt. These are super talented people, that just happened to all have a bad day at the same time. And it was still fun to watch.
