Just a handful of photos from the last few events at the meet. I had been up north shooting the softball semifinal and stopped by this meet because it was somewhat on the way home. And I knew that it could very likely be the last time I’d see some of these athletes compete on this level. I’ve been actively shooting for the last dozen years and shooting sports for most of that time. So some of them I’ve been following since they were little kids. On one hand, it’s been great watching them develop from awkward kids who could barely run in a straight line to talented, determined adult athletes. On the other hand, I’m just sad that I probably won’t be able to watch them continue as they graduate and move out into the world. So it seemed worth it to drive forty minutes out of my way for one last glimpse.

… And also my son needed a charger for his phone or he wouldn’t be able to find his way back home. But that first bit was way more noble.
