Milky Way Season

Summer is the best time of the year to shoot the core of the Milky Way. You can see it fairly high in the sky without having to stay up to the really obscenely late hours of the night. A couple years ago I made a big effort to shoot the core from the Adirondacks and came away with some pretty good photos. This year, I’ve upgraded my gear quite a bit and it made a dramatic difference. Expect more of these as the summer continues and I get a chance to visit some cool spots.
