Chatham vs Stillwater

Chatham started their season with a loss to Stillwater. The rematch came in the class CC Section II championship game. Stillwater lead early as the Panthers felt out their opponents. In the second quarter Chatham took charge and held a lead into the fourth quarter. Stillwater roared back late, taking back the lead. Things looked bleak for Chatham as they found themselves down 56-53 with 12.5 seconds left to play. Stillwater would foul Matt Thorsen, who hit both free throws to draw within one. Chatham got the ball back with eight seconds left when Chatham’s Anthony O’Dell dropped a three pointer as time expired to give the Panthers the 58-56 win.
