Ichabod Crane vs Catholic Central

Ichabod Crane and Catholic Central met up for the third time this season in the class B Section II Championship game. Ichabod would score first but otherwise trailed the entire first half, battling back to be within two points at the break. Catholic Central would build their lead back up to ten before Ichabod found their stride and pulled even midway through the fourth quarter. The lead would see saw back and forth the rest of the quarter until Ichabod would take the lead for good on a free throw with 8 seconds left on the clock. This is Ichabod’s first time reaching this level in fifty five years. Ichabod’s Brett Richards would score his 1000th point in the fourth quarter and be named tournament MVP.
