Today we found ourselves in Saratoga where the Norwood-Norfolk Flyers took on the Chatham Panthers in the NYS Regional Quarterfinal. Chatham couldn’t match the offensive output of their previous game but still ground out more than enough runs. The previous game featured a two pitcher combined no-hitter. This one managed to one up it with starter Matt Thorsen soloing a no-hitter. And if not for hit batter, that from my angle didn’t look like it, it would have been a perfect game. Chatham advances to the NYS Regional Semifinal with the 6-0 win.
