1970 Road Runner

My friend Danny is a bit obsessed with muscle cars in general. But his true love is the Plymouth Road Runner. He had one as a young man and has lusted after another ever since. He spent a few years with I believe a 1973 model. He had it painted orange but it came to him yellow, the color of lemons. And that was an apt description of that bird. It bedeviled him, blowing up engine after engine until he finally gave up and got rid of it in favor of a 2014 Dodge Challenger. Personally I would have quit there but as you can see from these photos, he did not. That passion never went away and when his dream car popped up, he pounced on it.
